A destructive fire erupted at a construction company camp in Amaravati, inflicting damage on High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes, according to a police statement.
The blaze is believed to have originated from dry grass before spreading to the pipes stored on the property. Guntur district Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal reported that the precise cause remains under scrutiny, but assured that police have commenced collecting evidence.
Thankfully, no casualties have been reported, with the damage constrained to property. Police are registering a case for the fire accident, and further legal actions may follow based on the ongoing investigation.
