Murder Shock in Manali: Live-In Partner Held in Gov't Employee's Death

A tragic incident unfolded in Manali as a live-in partner was arrested following the suspicious death of a 54-year-old government employee. The police have registered a murder case after Ranjit Singh was found unresponsive in his rented accommodation, leading to his partner Namarta's arrest.
Ranjit Singh, employed as a peon at a government school, was residing with Namarta in Patlikuhal village for the past five years. The case came to the fore when Namarta reported to the police about a fight with Singh the previous night, after which she found him lifeless.
Upon inspection, Singh's body revealed injury marks, prompting his wife, Tali Palmo, to allege murder. Authorities have commenced an investigation, with a forensic team on the scene. The body has been taken into custody for a post-mortem examination.
