Florida Woman Charged in Shooting at Rihanna's LA Home

A Florida woman has been charged with attempted murder and multiple felonies after allegedly firing gunshots at Rihanna's home in Los Angeles. Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, was accused of targeting the singer's Beverly Hills residence while she and her family were present, according to District Attorney Nathan Hochman.

Ortiz faces a total of 14 felony charges, including 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. She was arrested after the Sunday afternoon incident, during which no one was injured, although shots reportedly hit the front gate. Judge Theresa McGonigle set bail at $1.8 million and issued a protective order for Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and their family.

Public Defender Jamarcus Bradford initially entered a not guilty plea on Ortiz's behalf. However, her arraignment has been delayed until March 25. Ortiz is prohibited from possessing firearms or contacting the victims. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities unsure of any motive or connection between Ortiz and Rihanna.
