The U.N. document, prepared by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine, underscores that these actions constitute war crimes specifically targeting children—recognized as among the most vulnerable victims in conflicts.
Examining the cases of 1,205 children from five Ukrainian oblasts, the report reveals that a staggering 80% have not yet returned home. The findings demand swift international intervention to prevent further damage to their lives and futures.
