Bihar Police Crack Down on Drug Trafficking in Patna
Bihar police arrested three individuals and seized a significant amount of narcotics, including tablets and injectable substances, in Patna. The Bihar police have launched a successful anti-drug operation in the state's capital, leading to the arrest of three suspects involved in drug trafficking. Authorities seized a large haul of narcotic tablets and injectable substances, emphasizing their commitment to curbing drug supply in the region.
The operation unfolded in the Agamkuan police station area of Patna district on Saturday. Police reported seizing 10,800 tablets of Alprazolam, 60 Lecgesic injections, and various other injectable drugs, showcasing the extensive nature of the illegal drug trade in the city.
A statement from Patna police indicated that a special team, directed by the Patna SSP, led the operation. Their initial investigation suggests the accused procured the contraband from outside the city, distributing it across different police station areas. A motorcycle believed to be used in the operation was also confiscated.
