Australia Stands Firm on Syrian Camp Repatriation

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese reiterated his government's stance on Tuesday, declaring that there would be no repatriation for Australians residing in a Syrian camp that houses families of suspected Islamic State militants.
Albanese confirmed to ABC News, "We have a very firm view that we won't be providing assistance or repatriation."
On Monday, thirty-four Australians were released from the camp in northern Syria but were returned to the detention center for technical reasons, according to sources who spoke to Reuters.
