Lieutenant General P K Mishra, the General Officer Commanding of the Army's White Knight Corps, recently conducted a critical review of the counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district. During his visit, he called upon all ranks to maintain the highest levels of vigilance and combat readiness.

The review, conducted on Monday, was aimed at assessing the operational preparedness of the deployed units to ensure the seamless functioning of the counter-terrorism grid. He was joined by Major General A P S Bal of the Counter-Insurgency Force (Delta) to examine the security framework in the region.

Lt Gen Mishra's visit involved comprehensive briefings on the prevailing security landscape, with a focus on enhancing inter-agency cooperation. His trip underscored the army's commitment to safeguarding the region against emerging threats.
