Nigerian Troops Fiercely Repel Dual Militant Attacks in Borno State

In Borno state, Nigerian troops successfully thwarted coordinated assaults by Boko Haram and ISWAP militants on two military bases, amid some of the fiercest clashes in the region this year.
The attacks, which targeted Pulka near the Cameroon border and Mandaragirau in southern Borno, were repelled with significant resistance from the military, resulting in heavy losses for the insurgents, including a senior commander's death.
Despite the loss of some soldiers, Nigerian forces demonstrated resilience and strength, maintaining their positions and reinforcing their lines in the face of a persistent insurgency.
