Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has voiced his concerns against the BJP state government over its delay in establishing the Rajasthan Logistical Service Delivery Corporation (RLSDC). He claims the initiative, crafted during his tenure, is crucial for shielding contractual workers from exploitation.
Gehlot stated that the RLSDC was a pivotal decision by the previous Congress regime to guarantee full remuneration and social security benefits, such as EPF and ESI, for thousands of workers employed through placement agencies.
The veteran leader condemned the BJP for halting the proposal and urged expeditious action, emphasizing that supporting low-income workers aligns with the democratic ethos of prioritizing public welfare decisions.
