A balloon bearing the logo of Pakistan International Airlines was discovered within a technical zone belonging to the Indian Air Force, authorities confirmed on Sunday.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Gaurav Singh, the incident was reported to the Shahganj police station on February 12, after a formal complaint by the Indian Air Force.

The green and white, aircraft-shaped balloon was noticed in the secured area, though it contained no suspicious devices, officials stated. An investigation is actively being conducted to explore the circumstances surrounding the object, Singh further disclosed.
