In a tragic incident in northwest Delhi's Tri Nagar area, a 45-year-old man, Dheeraj Kaushik, reportedly died from electrocution, the police revealed.
Authorities were alerted by a distress call on February 12, reporting that Dheeraj succumbed to an electric shock from his bed.
During their investigation, the police discovered faulty wiring connected to the bed. Family members mentioned that Dheeraj had been drinking on the day of the incident. The police have initiated proceedings under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and further inquiries are ongoing with no foul play suspected.
