In an unprecedented move towards inclusive governance, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has called upon citizens to play an active role in the upcoming state budget for 2026-27.
Khandu emphasized the necessity of a participatory budget, encouraging feedback from all societal factions. The chief minister, using social media as a platform, urged the public to partake in the budget process, describing it as crucial for the state's progression.
Citizens can submit their ideas through a dedicated portal until February 20, with the top five contributors eligible for a Rs 50,000 cash prize, aiming to heighten civic engagement in budget planning.
