Tragic Highway Crash Claims Lives of CRPF Personnel and Civilian
A tragic accident near Khapri village, Chhattisgarh, resulted in the death of three CRPF personnel and a civilian when their car collided with a stationary truck. The crash happened on the Jagdalpur-Raipur National Highway. Initial reports suggest driver fatigue may have caused the accident.

In a tragic incident on Saturday, three CRPF personnel along with a civilian were killed following a vehicular accident in Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh. The car carrying the personnel, part of the elite CoBRA unit, and the civilian driver crashed into a stationary truck on the national highway.
The accident occurred early in the morning, around 8 am, near Khapri village on the Dhamtari bypass of the Jagdalpur-Raipur National Highway. Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that the driver might have dozed off at the wheel, leading to the fatal crash.
The deceased were identified as CRPF personnel Saurabh Tomar, Mukesh Kumar, Rajkumar God, and driver Heeralal Nagar. Another commando, Abhiman Rai, was injured and transferred to Raipur for further medical treatment. The region is heavily policed due to anti-Naxal operations.
