In a bid to address the pressing issues faced by the Kashmiri migrant community, Jammu and Kashmir Congress president Tariq Hameed Karra has called upon the UT government to dispatch an all-party delegation of MLAs to the camps in Jammu.
After engaging with the Kashmiri Pandit community at the Jagti migrant camp, Karra highlighted the urgent need for welfare measures and called for rekindling the tradition of celebrating Hindu-Muslim festivals in unison.
Karra stressed the importance of local-level dialogues and sustained initiatives to ensure the safe return of migrants, emphasizing the need for action beyond political considerations to improve current living conditions.
