Gurugram Police Crack Down on 'Ricky's Parking Lot'
The Gurugram Police demolished an illegal occupation of government land allegedly acquired through crime by a resident, Ricky. The encroachment involved a parking lot on land belonging to the Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation. Ricky, a habitual criminal, is currently jailed with multiple cases against him.

The Gurugram Police took decisive action by demolishing an unlawful occupation of government land, believed to have been acquired through criminal means. Officials confirmed the land, spanning three bighas and owned by the Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), was illegally occupied.
The suspect, identified as Ricky from Khandsa village, had constructed a parking lot on the occupied site. The demolition, conducted on Wednesday, was a coordinated effort involving the police and enforcement teams led by Sector 37 SHO Manjeet, with support from District Town Planner RS Batth, according to a Gurugram police spokesperson.
Ricky, a notorious figure with a history of criminal activities, is in jail with a total of 31 cases registered against him. Officials highlighted the ongoing crackdown on criminals and illegal encroachers, stressing that those flouting law and order will face stringent action.
