Heroin Bust in Delhi: Two Arrested in Rs 5 Crore Drug Haul
Two individuals, including a woman, were arrested in north Delhi for attempting to deliver Rs 5 crore worth of heroin. Identified as Sonia and Chandan Gupta, the pair were caught with 1.058 kg of heroin. Police investigations reveal they acquired the drugs from an absconding supplier named Rahul.

In a significant drug bust, Delhi police have arrested two individuals in connection with the attempted delivery of heroin valued at Rs 5 crore in the city's Gulabi Bagh area. The suspects, identified as Ambe alias Sonia, 34, and Chandan Gupta, 55, were intercepted during a police operation based on a confidential tip-off.
Sonia, who has been involved in the narcotics trade for several years, was caught with 1.058 kg of high-grade heroin. Her partner, Chandan, an auto-rickshaw driver with a criminal past, acted as a transporter in their illicit activities.
Authorities stated that the duo acquired the heroin from a supplier, Rahul, and intended to deliver it to the Trans-Yamuna region. Efforts are ongoing to locate the absconding supplier and disrupt the drug network further.
