In a peculiar turn of events, a woman was apprehended for extortion charges after falsely accusing a lawyer of molestation. Manita, a resident of Khurja town, had filed a complaint against advocate Anil Saxena, claiming he entered her house and assaulted her.

However, Saxena, who resides in the Khurja Nagar area, argued that the allegations were baseless. He accused Manita of demanding Rs 5 lakh to retract the charges. Saxena provided an audio recording of their conversation as evidence to the police.
