Major Drug Bust: 61.2 Kg of Opium Husk Seized in Himachal Pradesh
Two men from Punjab were apprehended with 61.2 kg of opium husk in Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh. They were stopped at a police checkpoint, and identified as Kuldeep Singh and Rampal. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing.

In a significant drug bust, police in Himachal Pradesh's Sundernagar town have seized 61.2 kg of opium husk.
Law enforcement officers set up a checkpoint at Alsu Chowk, intercepting a vehicle with the contraband. The occupants, identified as Kuldeep Singh from Moga and Rampal from Ludhiana, were promptly arrested.
Mandi Superintendent of Police, Sakshi Verma, confirmed the arrests. Authorities have registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigations are underway.
