Arrest in Shocking Assault Case in Uttar Pradesh

An unsettling crime has surfaced in Uttar Pradesh, where a man named Ashu, also known as Fauji, was apprehended for his alleged involvement in the drugging and rape of a minor.
The incident reportedly took place when Ashu allegedly lured the 17-year-old girl to a roadside eatery and gave her a beverage spiked with intoxicants. Following the alleged assault, Ashu is accused of capturing obscene images and videos, threatening to expose them unless monetary demands were met.
Authorities have since registered a case based on the girl's testimony under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other applicable legal sections. The investigation is ongoing, with the police continuing to gather evidence and statements related to the case.
