Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Wraps Up Session Amid Eventful Proceedings
The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly concluded its nine-day session, which included the passing of five government bills and discussions on two private members' resolutions. Despite a few disruptions, such as an opposition walkout, proceedings were mostly smooth. Members raised numerous issues, and elections for four Rajya Sabha seats were conducted.

The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly adjourned sine die following a productive nine-day session, Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather announced on Friday.
The session saw mainly smooth proceedings, save for a few noisy incidents, as lawmakers turned their attention to the listed business agenda. Notably, elections to four Rajya Sabha seats took place during this time.
A total of five government bills were passed, with one private member's resolution approved. Of the 41 private members' bills listed, only eight were discussed, with the remainder being withdrawn or defeated early in the process. An opposition walkout occurred after the Speaker rejected an adjournment motion concerning flood victims. The Speaker acknowledged the members' cooperation overall.
