Gen Upendra Dwivedi highlighted the shifting nature of modern warfare, emphasizing its move towards non-kinetic and non-contact strategies. He argued that military strength, intellectual prowess, and moral preparedness are more crucial than ever.
Speaking at the Manekshaw Centre, the Army Chief marked Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th birth anniversary by stressing the significance of youth participation in sectors such as think-tanks and the battlefield.
Addressing the Chanakya Defence Dialogue, co-hosted by the Army and the Centre for Land Warfare Studies, Dwivedi underscored the importance of evolving warfare tactics and announced that 2025's dialogue will focus on reform and security in India.
