Russia intensifies attacks around Pokrovsk, Kyiv's top commander says

Russian troops are stepping up attacks around the eastern stronghold of Pokrovsk, Ukraine's top commander said on Thursday. Ukraine was strengthening its defences to repel the attacks, Oleksandr Syrskyi said on Telegram.
"The main priority is to save the lives of our soldiers," he added.
