During a recent Justice Ministers Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), India's Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal highlighted the nation's initiatives aimed at making justice more accessible and affordable for all citizens.
Meghwal underscored India's commitment to offering free legal assistance to marginalized communities, and he introduced the e-Lok Adalat, a merger of technology and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms, as a new solution to facilitate dispute resolution.
He urged SCO member states to share ideas and best practices, emphasizing the collective need to digitize justice ministry activities and enhance legal systems across borders.
