YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has made serious allegations against the Andhra Pradesh government, accusing it of institutionalizing the production and distribution of spurious liquor.
At a press conference held in Tadepalli, Reddy claimed the TDP-led administration is instrumental in orchestrating a statewide illicit liquor operation through its leaders and cadre. This, he says, includes the clandestine setup of fake liquor factories.
Reddy has purported that illegal auctions for 'belt shops' are conducted across villages with police protection, significantly impacting state revenue and public health. He provided photos of confiscated materials allegedly used in these operations, stating the racket was exposed due to internal conflicts within TDP ranks.
