A 27-year-old woman from West Bengal was the victim of a heinous crime, according to police reports on Wednesday, involving gang rape and robbery at her residence.
Authorities have arrested three suspects, while efforts continue to capture the remaining two involved in the attack, which took place in Gangondanahalli under Madanayakanahalli police jurisdiction late Tuesday night.
A deputy SP-rank officer is spearheading the investigation, with special teams formed to expedite the search. The attackers fled after stealing Rs 25,000 and two mobile phones. A case is registered under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for gang rape, robbery, and other related crimes.
