On Tuesday, the Delhi Police marked Police Commemoration Day with a solemn tribute to officers who sacrificed their lives between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025.

A parade was held at Kingsway Camp's New Police Lines, where Commissioner Satish Golchha announced the names of eight Delhi officers and 178 others nationwide who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Tributes included a wreath-laying ceremony and a silent observance for the fallen, acknowledging the police officers' courage and dedication across India.
