An unidentified man's body was found floating in a drain in northeast Delhi's Ankur Vihar on Tuesday morning, prompting police to initiate a detailed investigation.
The body, first reported to the Karawal Nagar police station, has been through an initial medical examination at JPC Hospital, followed by a postmortem at GTB Hospital. Authorities noted the absence of visible injury marks, leaving the cause of death undetermined until postmortem results are available.
Efforts to identify the deceased include checking recent missing person reports from nearby areas such as Karawal Nagar, Sonia Vihar, and Loni Border. Meanwhile, officers are scrutinizing CCTV footage from adjacent locations to gather potential clues.
