UP: 35-year-old man killed as unidentified vehicle hits him in Amethi

A 35-year-old man died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near a village here, police said on Saturday.

The accident occurred near the Poore Prem village on Friday night when Vimal Sahu (35), from Bhagwanpur village was on a motorcycle. The unidentified vehicle rammed into him leaving him dead on the spot, police said.

Station House Officer of Amethi, Ravi Singh, said that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
