Jharkhand is set to witness a significant transformation in its healthcare landscape as Health Minister Irfan Ansari unveiled ambitious plans for the sector. The state government aims to establish eight new medical colleges, alongside a medical university slated for Brambe, Ranchi, to boost medical education and address the dearth of healthcare professionals.

Minister Ansari further announced the development of a state-of-the-art Medico City, involving an investment of approximately Rs 3,871 crore.
