Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has rebuffed accusations from the opposition regarding the Ayushman Bharat scheme's operational anomalies, labeling them as 'completely baseless.'
During a session in the Haryana Assembly, Saini responded to the Congress’s charges that private hospitals have stopped treating patients due to payment issues, emphasizing that the scheme is functioning effectively.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana offers health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh annually to eligible families. Expanded in recent years, the scheme now covers broader income brackets with a robust grievance redressal mechanism in place.
