The Rajasthan government has taken decisive action by suspending seven doctors and lodging FIRs against a private hospital and a diagnostic center. This crackdown stems from an audit revealing significant irregularities in the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS).
The probe targeted medical professionals in the Sikar district, leading to the suspension of associate professors Dr. Kamal Kumar Agrawal and Dr. Sunil Kumar Dhaka of the Orthopaedics Department, and Dr. Mukesh Verma of General Medicine at the Government Medical College, Sikar, alongside other prominent figures.
Further investigations pointed to collaborations between Kashish Pharmacy and Bharatpur Nursing Home, allegedly involved in fraudulent claims, costing the state considerable financial resources. The FIRs underscore Rajasthan's commitment to rectifying financial discrepancies and safeguarding public funds.
