GAIL (India) Ltd has announced the flag-off of its LNG carrier 'Energy Fidelity' from the Sabine Pass terminal in the United States. This significant event is poised to enhance India's supply chain with cleaner fuel and underscores the growing energy partnership between India and the U.S., focusing on reliability and innovation.

The flag-off ceremony was led by D C Manjunath, India's Consul General in Houston, who highlighted the alignment with India's priorities of Trade, Technology, and Tourism. The deployment of Energy Fidelity is central to GAIL's future-ready shipping initiatives, designed to boost efficiency and minimize environmental impact through advanced propulsion technologies.

As part of India's Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, the LNG carrier is crucial in transitioning India towards a gas-based economy. GAIL views Energy Fidelity not merely as a transport asset but as a linchpin in driving sustainable economic progress and ensuring energy security for the nation.
