In response, Tehran's envoy to New Delhi, Mohammad Fathali, was summoned for discussions with India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. Misri expressed profound concern over the incident, involving the shooting of Indian ships in this vital shipping lane.
India has pressed Tehran to expedite measures to ensure the safe transit of its ships through the Strait of Hormuz, underlining the importance of unimpeded maritime navigation in the region.
