At the opening bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 45.8 points to 45,975.65. Simultaneously, the S&P 500 declined by 11.8 points, reaching 6,594.66, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 101.4 points to 21,989.33.
