The state of Himachal Pradesh, a key tourist hub, is enduring relentless rain and snowfall, with forecasts predicting more harsh weather. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) attributes this to a potent western disturbance.

Significant precipitation has doused the region, with Manali recording a maximum of 53 mm of rain. Higher altitudes, such as Gondhla and Keylong, reported notable snowfall.

An orange alert has been issued for several regions, warning of possible hailstorms and gusty winds. Authorities emphasize caution and advise against unnecessary travel in vulnerable areas.
