Drone Attacks Disrupt UAE's Energy Sector and Oil Operations
Drone attacks on the UAE's Shah gas field and Fujairah Oil Zone have halted operations and caused a fire. A tanker near Fujairah was also struck, suffering minor damage. The attacks have disrupted the UAE's energy sector, reducing oil output due to the Strait of Hormuz's closure.
Operations at the United Arab Emirates' Shah gas field remain halted following a drone attack, with another incident sparking a fire in Fujairah's oil zone. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
In separate news, the UK Maritime Trade Operations confirmed an unknown projectile had hit a tanker off Fujairah, inflicting minor damage. Meanwhile, the UAE's energy sector, already reeling from the effective shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz, faces further disruption due to the incident.
ADNOC has been forced to reduce oil output by over half. The region has seen over 2,000 missile attacks since the US-Israel conflict began, targeting vital infrastructure across Gulf Arab states.
