Ebrard to Advocate for USMCA Review and Tariff Elimination

Mexican Economy Minister Marcelo Ebrard is set to meet with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Green this Wednesday to formally initiate a review of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), according to Ebrard's office.

Ebrard confirmed on social media his commitment to advocating for the continuation of the trade deal. He also plans to push for the elimination of tariffs, highlighting Mexico's strategic focus on strengthening economic relations within North America.

This meeting marks a critical step in assessing the USMCA's future, as stakeholders from Mexico aim to ensure that trade policies remain beneficial and supportive of mutual growth across the continent.
