In a remarkable achievement, Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO) has set a new record by generating 6,160 megawatts of thermal power in a single day.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, lauded the feat, emphasizing its significance under the NDA coalition's 20-month governance, which focused on strategic power sector recovery.
With APGENCO's projects boasting a total installed capacity of 6,610 megawatts, crossing the 6,000 mark demonstrates a 93.19 percent production efficiency. Naidu expressed his gratitude towards the workers, employees, and senior GENCO officials for their vital roles in reaching this milestone.
