In Moradabad, forest officials have relocated a days-old leopard cub to a local deer park after efforts to reunite it with its mother failed. According to Divisional Forest Officer Avinash Pandey, the cub was rescued from the Chhajlet area.

In a separate incident, a leopard was spotted at Green Field School in Ghaziabad, prompting swift action by the forest department to seal off the premises and prepare for a safe capture. Divisional Forest Officer Isha Tiwari confirmed that the school authorities alerted them after identifying the animal on security footage.

Efforts to locate the leopard have been hampered by poor visibility, but a tranquilization team with specialized equipment is on standby to ensure a careful operation. The Forest Department has urged local residents to be cautious until the situation is resolved.
