The sprawling complex is home to facilities belonging to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). These facilities have the capacity to refine up to 922,000 barrels of oil each day, underscoring their importance to the region's energy landscape.
The Ruwais complex also plays a critical role in the emirate's downstream operations. It hosts numerous significant chemical, fertilizer, and industrial gas plants, making it a pivotal hub in Abu Dhabi's energy infrastructure.
