Speaking at Vigyan Bhavan, President Droupadi Murmu called for collective action to dismantle social stereotypes and economic inequalities hindering women's progress. Highlighting their achievements, Murmu pointed out women's superior capabilities in areas like service, talent, and bravery.
Citing historical figures as inspirations, she urged society to reflect on and implement their ideals. Murmu praised the efforts of the Bharatiya Vidvat Parishad and the Rashtra Sevika Samiti in preserving India's rich knowledge traditions.
Promoting Indian languages and classical thought, she advocated for building an Atmanirbhar India, marking International Women's Day with a tribute to feminine strength in 'Vande Mataram'.
