Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates made a significant appearance in Amravati, Andhra Pradesh, ahead of attending the AI-India Impact Summit in Delhi. Upon arrival, he was received by Andhra Pradesh Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nara Lokesh, who expressed hope for fruitful collaborations.
In a post on X, Lokesh extended a warm welcome, highlighting the presence of key ministers from Andhra Pradesh and underlining potential discussions on enhancing partnerships in sectors such as health, agriculture, and technology-driven governance. Lokesh emphasized the state's eagerness to work closely with the Gates Foundation.
The AI Impact Summit, set to run from February 16 to 20, is expected to draw global attention. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit, underscoring India's rapid advancements in science and technology and its contribution to global development. The summit aims to shape an inclusive, responsible AI future.
