U.S. and Israel Forge Alliance to Curtail Iran's Oil Exports

President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have reached an agreement to work together to limit Iran's oil exports to China, revealed a report by Axios. This significant development was disclosed following discussions between the two leaders at the White House.

A senior U.S. official, as quoted by Axios, stated, "We agreed that we will go full force with maximum pressure against Iran, for example, regarding Iranian oil sales to China." Despite the high stakes, China's foreign ministry has yet to issue a response, likely due to the current national holiday marking the Lunar New Year.

Given that China accounts for over 80% of Iran's oil exports, any reduction could severely impact Iran's oil revenue. Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts continue, with U.S. and Iranian diplomats recently engaging in nuclear talks via Omani intermediaries, as tensions rise with the deployment of U.S. naval forces in the region.
