Fernandez leads early results in Costa Rica presidential race
Laura Fernandez is leading Costa Rica's presidential race with commanding lead of 53.01% while Alvaro Ramos is currently in second with 30.05% and Claudia Dobles is third with 3.9%. A total of 31.14% of votes have been tallied.
Fernandez needs at least 40% to win the election outright and avoid a runoff on April 5.
