Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin publicly voiced his party's opposition to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) on Sunday, criticizing the second phase's potential to influence power dynamics in the state. He urged for collaborative discussions, convening an all-party meeting led by Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Speaking to ANI, Udhayanidhi Stalin referenced past electoral interference, adding, "With elections looming in the next 3-4 months, we view this as a deliberate move to seize control in Tamil Nadu." He invited party leaders to express their views and deemed CM Stalin's input as pivotal for strategic decision-making.

Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi inaugurated the MRT1 Chargebee Chennai Runs 2025 marathon, a significant fitness initiative at Napier Bridge. The event attracted diverse participants and honored at its closing by Rajya Sabha MP Kamal Haasan. With categories spanning various distances, the marathon underscored Chennai's vibrant community spirit.
