In a stern declaration against corruption, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu asserted that the state government will not tolerate any corrupt practices. Addressing allegations of misappropriated funds in the Frontier Highway project, Khandu announced the formation of a high-level committee to investigate these claims.
Speaking at the Grong Buddha Park foundation event, Khandu highlighted that disruptions in the Lada to Sarli segment stem from individuals prioritizing personal gain. He confirmed imminent suspensions for those accountable, aiming for a transparent investigation process. Khandu criticized the delays these unscrupulous actions might cause to the project.
The Chief Minister applauded the West Kameng administration for handling land acquisitions efficiently and thanked the public for their cooperation. Besides corruption talk, Khandu emphasized the importance of the Grong Buddha Park as a future cultural and tourism site, launching apps to aid tourism, child safety, and substance abuse counseling.
