On October 30, chaos erupted in Mokama when Yadav was killed amidst campaign-related violence. Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya Sharma reported the arrest of Singh and his associates, Manikant Thakur and Ranjeet Ram, who are now under judicial custody. Investigations reveal possible violations of the Model Code of Conduct.
