In a tragic incident that highlights the societal pressures surrounding motherhood, a 30-year-old woman, Ankita Singh, was found dead under circumstances police have preliminarily identified as suicide. This heartbreaking event occurred on Wednesday night in a village governed by the Chitbadagaon police station.
According to initial investigations and family statements, Ankita had been deeply troubled by her inability to have children with her husband, Angad Singh, after seven years of marriage. This distress reportedly culminated in her taking her life by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her in-laws' residence.
The body was subsequently retrieved by the police and dispatched for a postmortem examination to determine the precise cause of death, as stated by Station House Officer Dinesh Pathak, who affirmed that further investigation into the case is ongoing.
