 The city of Oryol in western Russia is experiencing restrictions in the supply of heat and hot water after a drone attack reportedly hit a local power plant's pipeline, authorities have confirmed. The decision affects several districts including Sovetsky, Zheleznodorozhny, and Severny.
Increased strikes on energy infrastructure have been observed as tensions rise between Ukraine and Russia amid stalled peace talks. Recently, the Financial Times revealed the U.S. cancelled a Budapest summit between its former President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin following unsuccessful negotiations involving Ukraine.
Russia's defence ministry announced that 130 Ukrainian drones were shot down, targeting multiple regions. Meanwhile, a kindergarten in Yaroslavl has been closed after being hit.
