Venezuela's Oil Production: A Surging Recovery

In a significant development for Venezuela's energy sector, the country's oil production reached 1.13 million barrels per day in September. This is a notable rise from approximately 1.06 million bpd earlier in the year, as revealed by Delcy Rodriguez, Venezuela's oil minister, during a recent conference in Caracas.

The South American nation's production of gasoline and diesel has also shown improvement. Official data indicates that Venezuela averaged 177,500 barrels per day of these fuels in August, an increase compared to the 146,200 barrels per day produced during the same period last year.
